Hi. Some mothns ago I started the developing of libDecoder, a simple video decoding library that uses FFMPEG. The main goal is to get high performance on low-end machines. The project is hosted on SourceForge (http://sourceforge.net/projects/libdecoder) and the current code is available in the SVN. I have made some tests on the GP2X and the performance is just "good". I need to implement some optimizations for the GP2X (like YUV hardware acceleration, hardware scaler...) to get videos working at fullspeed. I think this project could be a good video player for the Open2X firmware but I need some help to finish it because I don't know too much about how to use the GP2X hardware. Anyone has some free time to waste in this project? :P I hope I can finish this project ;) Greetings, Miguel Bot=F3n. |
