[Open1x-xsupplicant] OpenSea supplicant on Windows7

Hi

I installed version 2.2.2.504 of the supplicant on Windows 7 and I see
several issues with it
1. It does not detect the wireless adapter unless I re-start the Xsupplicant
service
2. It fails to scan the list of wireless networks and throws the error "Unable
to start a scan on interface '%s'! (Your scan information may not be
current.) Reason was a device attached to the system is not functioning"

Are these known issues? How do I get past this?
