MS Vista and Win7 are unsupported but i have run tests to post a bug report.
Xsupplicant v2.1.9.709 2010-01-06
OS: Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit up-to-date 2010-01-20
While installing on OS (Installer responds that this OS version has not been tested) installer freezes while searching for other supplicants (checksuppsapp.exe runs in 32-bit mode). After killing process in task manager the installer responds that there were other supplicants discovered but not disabled or removed (no other supplicants were installed on OS). Installer then finishes its process and after reboot Xsupplicant starts but the icon in tray is grey and after doubleclick it shows the About window. The service Xsupplicant is stopped. If manually started, error 1075 occurs: The dependeny service does not exist or has been marked for deletion.

It opens window with message to manually disable the supplicant. After reboot Xsupplicant starts but the icon in tray is grey and after doubleclick it shows the About window. The service Xsupplicant is stopped. If manually started, error 1075 occurs: The dependeny service does not exist or has been marked for deletion.

Error was: Intel® Wireless Link 4965AGN.”

The current nightly builds have support for Vista and Win 7 now. The first release supporting them will be in the next week.
Hi, I'm still seeing the Windows 7 32 bit error using the latest version of xsupplicant. It's still saying that it cannot disable the Microsoft Windows Zero Configuration Supplicant and if I continue, I could risk a blue screen.
