An Open Implementation of IEEE 1451 / News: Recent posts

The Open1451 Project is pleased to announce the availability of two initial IEEE 1451.1 Software Reference Implementations. The Seattle and Gaithersburg software releases establish the initial IEEE 1451 open source repository. These implementations were done during the standards development process and represent different snapshots of the IEEE 1451.1 standard. However, they provide developers with initial implementations to start looking at. As the Open1451 project matures, a unified release based on one or both of these snapshots is encouraged.
