open-vm-tools in RHEL 6.6

Hi,
        I am trying to install open-vm-tools in red hat enterprise linux
6.6. It seems that there are no rpms available for them in yum repository.
So I took a look at https://github.com/vmware/open-vm-tools and tried to
build the code. I did "./configure", but it has failed giving me below
error:

checking for libmspack >= 0.0.20040308alpha (via pkg-config)... no
configure: error: mspack >= 0.0.20040308alpha is required.

Is there a way to tackle this issue, I tried a lot, but couldn't get
anything. Any help is highly appreciated.

And one more thing, just curious to know, is open-vm-tools available for
RHEL 6.6?
