High Memory usage of vmtoolsd

Hi All,

I have a application which is polling data from a vm using vmware tools.
The vmtoolsd is constantly increasing in memory until the guest os goes out
of memory.

Version of tools I am using is

open-vm-tools 2012.10.14 </mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=29989437>
