Just remove it from there. We should think about a switch. Again you're the 
first to use it without CLVM.
I'll file a RFE and we'll decide to include it in the next major release. Or 
you'll do it. 
Quick guess:
I would just check if the major of the rootdevice is 8 and if so not start 
clvmd. Mark? What do you think?
