could you be so kind and also attach the console output (if possible).
And note: I didn't (yet) validate the new bootimage with ocfs2. Hopefully I'll 
get it done tomorrow and let you know.

Everything else looks like ok.

What does com-queryclusterconf convert ocfs2 say?

Also remove the syslog and you might see more information on console.
