Let me put it this way. It's hard to find ;-) . I don't like the NFS Howto cause it describes a too complicated setup. What you are trying to setup is an External NFS-Server. An yes you need to follow these steps as described in the "normal" Howto. We'll have to rewrite this Howto. It's neither clear nor good.
