The 1 mailer flag means, that sendmail will strip any '\0' bytes, when sending data to Cyrus LDAPD.

cyrusv2, included in sendmail, does not have the 1 flag set, mailer/anfi/cyrusv3.m4 from Open Sendmail has the 1 flag set.

Please clarify, why does cyrusv3 add the 1 flag to the cyrus mailer.
