I tried Open Perl IDE unter W2K using a simple script.
I have a file hello.pl, which contains the
line 'print "hello\n";'
When I run this script, it works. When I try to compile
the active project, pressing the according button in the
IDE, the program barfs, giving the following error
No DB::DB routine defined at C:/Perl/lib/Cwd.pm line
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at C:/Perl/lib/Cwd.pm
Compilation failed in require at perl5db.pl line 39.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at perl5db.pl line 39.
Compilation failed in require.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted.
And the source window shows the file Cwd.pm and
marked the line, which says "use Carp;". If I try to quit
Open Perl IDE then it closes the window but there is
something left in the task bar, which can only be killed
using task manager.
The Perl Distribution I use is also found through CPAN
and is perl-5.8-win32-bin.tar.gz from
