Is there a comprehensive document identifying the library and tool requirements for building open-dis C++ in linux with GNU tools? So far my attempts to build open-dis for C++ have failed:
premake gnu linux scripts file processing the first line in DIS.lua with a complaining about "attempt to index global 'project' (a function value)"
-Wl flag not recognized in LDFLAGS in Compile/gnu.linux/DIS.make
Is the C++ project as up-to-date as the Java version? I need to generate some DIS v7 packets with various PDU Header status bits set to test some changes I'm making in another project. I'm hoping that open-dis can help me do that easily.
Thanks.

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
No, I don’t believe there is. As I recall there’s a CMake structure for creating make
files, and it’s configured to do at least VC++ 2008.
Since I don’t work with the C++ version at all I tend to rely on others to keep it
up. It can probably use some tweaking to the build process and tool chain
support.
