For those that are interested, MicroFocus has a free Personal edition of their Visual COBOL for Visual Studios.
I personally like the idea of having a solution file structure for my projects. I was spoiled by this aspect of VS.
Even if I only use this as an editor for GNUCOBOL files it will worth it I think.
Additional information for Visual COBOL Personal Edition: annual licence (free of charge), of course non-commercial (even non-academic) and available for Eclipse (with solution file structure), too.
The Visual Studio Edition needs either Visual Studio Professional (Express Versions seem to don't work) or becomes a feature (especially coding language) reduced version.
I think I'll have a look at it in the next months ;-).
