On my box, the AC97 driver starts numbering devices at
/dev/audio/multi/ich_ac97/1 (which is probably a bug in
itself), and this prevents the OpenBeOS multi-audio
add-on from recognizing it. If I use the
HACKING_MULTIAUDIO branch and add a symlink at
/dev/audio/multi/ich_ac97/1, then it sees two
interfaces (of course) and screws up. If I use the
standard branch, it still doesn't work. I bet the bug
is that it causes an error when the index of the
interface is higher than the number of interfaces -1.
