 [open-axiom-help] Help a novice From: miniBill - 2011-04-24 21:54:08 I've been struggling to find a way to do a simple task: Take a polynomial from an input file, radicalSolve it, and put output in a tex file. Please help :(

In the released OpenAxiom-1.3.0 there was a bug that prevented the output. However, that has been fixed (for a long time) in the developmentversion. For example: gauss[10:23]% cat t.input )set output tex on p:=x^2+1 radicalSolve p gauss[10:23]% open-axiom --script t.input $${x \sp 2}+1 \leqno(1)$$ $$\left[ {x={\sqrt {-1}}}, \: {x=-{\sqrt {-1}}} \right] \leqno(2)$$ Hope that helps, -- Gaby
