This is a test running on Luyten 3.10.7 making calls to a Tandberg C20. I've noticed that when I call the C20 over H323 I get an average bit rate of about 6MB/sec from the tandberg unit. However if I dial using SIP I only get 512KB per second. I've looked through the logs and I noticed that when I call the unit over SIP. It limits the bandwidth field to 512kbps in the SIP PDU from the C20:
m=video 2424 RTP/AVP 118 119
I wondered if it might just be a unit thing. However when I called the C20 from another telepresence unit. I was able to achieve about 2mbps and I noticed that in this case the TIAS field was set to 2000000. I tried a variety of things to force OPAL to be more like the other telepresence unit but I just can't seem to get the C20 to raise the bandwidth allocation.
I'm sure there must be something I'm missing here, but I can't seem to see it. I've linked my level 4 log file right here. Can anyone help? Has anyone experience this issue?
