#2 idl compiler doesn't wrap qw() calls in parentheses causing modern Perl versions to output warnings
Modern Perl versions complain bitterly when qw(...) isn't enclosed by another set of parentheses.
I modified idl/modules/IDLBackend.pm on my local installation to add enclosing parentheses around such qw() expressions when compiling IDL files on lines 746, 985, 1010, 1066, 1141, 1333, 1393.
This bug report recommends the same is done on the next release of opalORB.
Thanks for letting me know. I've made these changes in a workspace. I hope to get some time to do a release soon.
