OpenOffice.org Writer pre-export filter / News: Recent posts

The latest version now supports not only text frames, but also pictures and OLE objects inserted into the document. All are saved even when they are anchored to or within other text frames frames.

This version currently plays with AS_CHARACTER anchorings a bit. Running the component will convert them, in-place, to AT_CHARACTER frames.

There are still some issues with the positioning of frames that were within other frames and of converted AS_CHARACTER frames. There are also a couple of exceptional cases that may occur when a parent frame is at the edge of the page.... read more
