No

Hi,just tried Beta 3.1 RC1. After installation not
only was the PATHEXT setting gone, but also the PATH
setting!

That meant no Rexx programs called from Startup
folder worked, let alone from command line, which
left my system in a terrible state...

    Hi Mike,

    What version of Windows?
What installation options did you select?
What was the PATH after the install? Run: c:\path
What was the PATHEXT after the install? Run: echo %PATHEXT%
Did you install it as a user with Admin rights?

    Hi,

    What version of Windows?

XP Tablet Edition with all updates (SP2 etc.)

What installation options did you select?

    All defaults.

What was the PATH after the install? Run: c:\path
What was the PATHEXT after the install? Run: echo %
    PATHEXT%

See below. The oorexx in the path and the .rex in the
pathext were there before the install, were missing after
the install, and have been added by me, manually, since.

Did you install it as a user with Admin rights?

Yes. The only 'glitch' during install (in case relevant)
was that at first it could not replace rexx.dll because a
background task (web server) was using Rexx. I stopped
that task and clicked Retry and the install then appeared
    to complete normally.

    Mike, please download:

    ftp://ftp.lightlink.com/pub/hessling/private/ooRexx310.exe

and check for PATHEXT etc being correct.

Please manually remove any settings you made manually before
    installing.

    Cheers, Mark

    Looks good! Many thanks.

I tried it before and after emoving manual settings; both
cases worked (did not change my manual PATHEXT, which is
good, and added to PATHEXT sensibly when not there
    already).

    Mike
