My first patch.
Pls tell me when it is incorporated
(or what I have done wrong :-( )

    Committed revision 5198.

    Two minor points Walter. We usually leave the Assigned field set to none. I know that SourceForge is automatically filling in Rick's name - you can just set it back to None.

    The patch would be easier for me to apply if you had created it closer to the source. Since I don't have oorexx\docs\trunk\rexxref\fundclasses.sgml I had to go in and edited the patch to get it to apply.

    You can just create the patch from the rexxref directory and then the top would look like this:

    Index: rexxref/fundclasses.sgml

    --- rexxref/fundclasses.sgml (revision 5197)
    +++ rexxref/fundclasses.sgml (working copy)

    Instead of this:

    Index: docs/trunk/rexxref/fundclasses.sgml

    --- docs/trunk/rexxref/fundclasses.sgml (revision 5197)
    +++ docs/trunk/rexxref/fundclasses.sgml (working copy)

    Thanks for taking the time to climb the learning curve in how to work with an open source project.

    Mark, a handy little tip for you. the -p option on the patch command allows you to specify how many levels of the patch directory names to skip. Thus

    patch -p2

    would allow that file to be used without editing.

    Aha, thanks Rick. That is a good tip.

    Correcting Rixx to none should go into your tutorial.

    There shall be another patch tomorrow :-)

    This patch would have been in 4.0.0 or 4.0.1
