thanks again for volunteering in enhancing the PARSE testUnit testcases!
Enclosed please find the entire archive of the "ooRexxUnit" package for
which I just finished to create a testUnit for the PARSE keyword
statement. I did use the examples from the documentation (chapter 10).
In order to add additional tests, please locate the file
"testUnits\ooRexx\base\ooRexx.Base.PARSE.testUnit" which is a plain
ooRexx program, so you can run it by issuing "rexx
ooRexx.Base.PARSE.testUnit". The output will not be spectaclular, it'll
just indicate how many tests, successful assertions and failures took
place. (Later on, when we can cover most of the base of the ooRexx
language, I would come up with a nicer formatter, at the moment I have
been looking around to spot possible students for that job.)
Anyway, the best approach to become acquainted with ooRexxUnit initially
would be by looking through the "txt-files" in the root of the archive.
If you have any questions (the docs may be too scarce) then please do
not hesitate to ask. If you are subscribed to
<oorexx-devel@...>, then please post them via that
listserver list. (Walter, would you be able to subscribe there too?)
Please feel free to overhaul/correct whatever you think!
Again, thank you very much for your help to improve the testUnit by
adding new testCases!
