Hi David, Some minor points, no big issues. Kind regards, Gert 1. About This Release Is it still really necessary to uninstall the previous version of = ooRexx. At least on Windows it shouldn't be a problem to uninstall it = automatically before installing the new version. If it can overwrite the = previous version it should pick up the current installation directory. I = don't remember if the installer did allready pickup the previous install = dir, so it might be no issue at all. 2. Windows Requirements,... I would add the word 'processor' to the latest sentence, offcourse it's = obvious but it should be there i think 2.2. Software Requirements I guess Windows 2003 is supported also? 2.3.2. Windows Uninstallation Information Add Control Panel to "Start->Setting->Add Remove Programs" It should be "Start->Settings->Control Panel-> Add or Remove programs". = And maybe some notice that it will be different with other languages. The program to uninstall can also be 'Open Object Rexx' instead of = 'Object Rexx for Windows' 2.4. Running Object Rexx as a Child.... Maybe adding something like: If you decide to run it as a service after installation you can run the = rxapi /i command to install the service. 2.6. Exploring Open Object Rexx The sentence 'double-click the "Object REXX REXXTRY" icon in the Object = Rexx for Windows group' isn't right. With the current version there is = no Object REXX REXXTRY icon and if it exists in the new version it = should be in the 'Open Object Rexx' group. The list of available samples isn't complete, I don't know if it should = be.=20 After listing the samples the wrong group is also mentioned: Object Rexx = for Windows\Samples The API directory is not a subdirectory of the Samples directory, it's = in the ooRexx directory |
