I know we have had to manually add that package previously as it is not part of the standard Debian install, but then we ran into an issue that the switches to that program have been modified by the Debian team for unknown reasons. Not sure if he has added it back this time around. Something just does not add up right about this problem specifically when the tar'ed source compiles fine - which the tar'ed source has some steps of autoconfig already run against it vs cvs is "raw source".
