To produce the hang: The program has a date time picker control. Click on the down arrow on the right of the control this drops down a calendar. Then click twice (fairly rapidly) on the ok button. The first click causes the drop down calendar to close. The second click closes the dialog. The Rexx dialog processes the the "close up" message and spins in a loop to simulate a lot of time in the method. If the main portion of the program starts to exit before the invoked method finishes, the interpreter doesn't exit: C:\hang.on.terminate>userTestDT.rex In Rexx method ONDTPCLOSEUP.
