OLEObject has the ability to work with connectable
COM objects. (OLEObjectEvent) However, this function is not nearly as robust as it could be. It should be improved to:

  • Provide a way for the user to connect any OLEObject to events, provided the COM object is connectable.

  • Allow the user to connect and disconnect from the connectable object at any time.

  • Allow the user to query if an OLEObject is connectable and / or if it is currently connected.

  • Fixe the getKnownEvents() method so that, if the object supports events, the user can get always get the known events.
