I understand that ooRexxSQL can be used to access SQL database.

Can you please advice where would I locate this library. Although, I have already installed the latest Beta version ooRexx 3.1 on my PC.

      Hi Yajesh,

it is possible to use jdbc (free, now also open) in ooRexx using BSF4Rexx. I can confirm that it works as I just tested it this weekend. Note that Rony made a fix to suppress exception out from Java, for example if you catch the exception with a 'signal on syntax' statement. You can download BSF4Rexx separately, except for in the MacOSX distro, where it is included and installed with ooRexx 3.1.1 itself.

Mark Hessling's page at http://www.rexx.org has links to a lot of Rexx external function libraries including RexxSQL.

So, it is not part of embedded within OORexx. Correct?

Just wanted to make sure. This also means that I wll need to purchase kicense to support SQL interfaces via ODBC.
