.input~charin waits for the Enter key in addition to the expected keystroke. So if i want "q" to mean "quit", the user must press "q" AND the Enter key. PARSE PULL does that wonderfully already.
How can i get something similar to "read -s -n 1" in bash?
Thanks in advance?
I've located something to achieve that in Perl, at http://perldoc.perl.org/perlfaq5.html#How-can-I-read-a-single-character-from-a-file?--From-the-keyboard?
However, it is not fully functional in Win32, as it doesn't work for the arrow keys (unable to distinguish which key was pressed)
