In order to become more compatible with most *nux distributions we need to move the ooRexx shared libraries from /usr/lib/ooRexx to /usr/lib. This will allow us to remove all symlinks that are currently needed in the install files (rpm, deb, etc.).

    Fixed in SVN revision 6741.

This turned out to be harder than I thought, and I was completely wrong about the correct solution. The correct solution is to continue to us /usr/lib/ooRexx for our shared libraries but add that path to the ld.conf set of paths. This is accomplished by add an ooRexx.conf file to /etc/ld.so.conf.d with our library path in that file.

The above was implemented in SVN rev 6767.

The fix for this item was in the 4.1.1 or 4.1.0 release.
