I had glanced at the code, and it didn't look to me like the other fix you did would effect SysStemDelete(). I could easily be wrong though. <grin>
I'm not sure why you say that....my earlier fix completely replaced all of the SysStemDelete code.

Ah, shoot - I was just on a Linux today and I forgot to test this.
Bob, the ooRexx 4.0.1 beta is now available and this should be fixed in that. Could you test the beta and see if this is still a problem.
This is indeed fixed in the 4.0.1 release.
