No

I am more then surprised that I am the first to notice but ./configure is missing from ooRexx.4.0.0.source.tar.gz. This is pretty bad as unix-like-build.txt states it should be there.

Apart from that live for package maintainer like me would be a lot easier if you followed directory / tar-file naming conventions.

Well, Martin, you're not the first to notice.

We have the wrong source file package up on SourceForge. We should have the source file that only needs

    ./configure
    make

    to build.

I've been meaning to fix that for some time, but just hadn't got around to it. ;-(

I'll try to straighten this out today.

    Martin,

I've uploaded the proper source file, it builds using just ./configure. Give it a try please.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by that. The file name is: ooRexx-4.0.0.tar.gz It untars into ooRexx-4.0.0, which is what I would expect it to do, from the file name.

I meant that a file called "ooRexx.4.0.0.source.tar.gz" contains a top level directory called "ooRexx.4.0.0.source/" (and not 4.0.0/trunk) - That's what most package creation scripts expect. But I see you fixed that as well :-)

Compile starts now - for any further errors I open a new bug report.

    Thanks for the effort

    Martin
