On a linux system, OpenSuse 11.1, the following command fails:
'echo $HOME | rxqueue'
The error message "REX121: Storage for data queues is exhausted."
is always returned.
A similar command runs on Windows.
Mark, I believe this is a duplicate of 2811738
You seem to have CSS turned off.
Please don't fill out this field.
Could you do two things and give me the results.
1.) su to root after the command fails and retry the command. I'd like to see if it then works.
2.) After you reboot, before you do anything with Rexx, run the following command and let us know if rxapi is running:
Well, a couple other things I gues. Did you install from one of the beta builds on SourceForge, one of the rpms? If so which one?
Or did you build from a source tarball from SourceForge?
Or did you build from a svn check out, if so what revision.
The problem was indeed with rxapi.
I don't know why but it was either not running or disabled.
Not sure which.
I rebooted and the command worked.
I am using the 4381 rpm.
I am closing this bug report.
