The installation of 3.2.0 for the Intel platform on OS X 10.4.10 ends with a generic error message to the effect that the installation had an error, please install again.

This is on a MacBookPro 2.2.

I re-installed without uninstalling anything and it failed the same way.

Thanks.

I am going to try to add a .png file that shows the error message.

Same thing for me on PPC Mac with Mac OS X 10.4.11.

    Downloaded & opened:

    ooRexx-3.2.0-1.ppc.MacOSX.dmg

    Double-clicked on

    ooRexx-3.2.0-ppc.MacOSX.pkg

It went through the whole process of installing, but at the very end I got:

There were errors installing the software
    Please try installing again.

I tried downloading and installing again, with identical results.

    Looking in install,log I see:

Dec 13 22:25:09 Ackerman-iMac : run postflight script for Open Object Rexx 3.2.0
    Dec 13 22:25:10 Ackerman-iMac : postflight[766]: postflight: linking files

I just installed, and got the same message,
but it looks like that the installation was completed
the error was on the stmt ( last one )
    "echo softlinks created > /Users/rvjansen/ooRexx3.2.0.install.log"

the softlinks were created, and ooRexx seems to work !

    regards
    e.s

    P.S.
look at the package content, resources/postflight
and look if the symlinks were created... mine were !

Closing this as out of date. If there are any problems with the Mac installer for ooRexx 4.0.1 and later please open a new bug.
