On the Windows platform one can assign the associated program with the help of the ooDialog program "%REXX_HOME%\samples\oodialog\ftyperex.rex".

This program would allow for associating Rexx programs with the IBM workbench, which is not available in the opensource version of Object Rexx. Therefore this choice needs to be removed.

Also, the new path to the exe-file misses a quote right before the name of the exe-file causing hangs of the session in which a Rexx program would be started thereafter. Starting such programs via the explorer would bring up a popup with a list of programs to use to process the Rexx program.

    Committed revision 731.

This commit removes the code and references for the Object Rexx Workbench. It also adds a missing quotation mark to the newly created ftype string.

Removing the Workbench from the choices makes the example program less interesting, there are only 2 possible choices. I'm toying with the idea of adding an option in the example to set the ftype open string to open with Notepad. That would give 3 different options, associate REXXScript with run by rexx.exe, run by rexxhide.exe, or open in Notepad.

The possible down side to that would be a user who didn't understand ftype, associating .rex files with Notepad, and then not understanding why a .rex file no longer executed on the command line. But, that would be no different than having *.rex files open in Workbench as the original example did.

Going to leave this open for a bit to see if there is any feedback.
