I just downloaded and installed oxygenoffice 2.3.  How does the wikipedia search work?  I can't find it?

    Thank you

There are two icons in Writer with text (WPD and WPC). Select one word (with double click) the hit one of these buttons. Theoretically the browser comes up with the requested Wiki page. Is it working for you? Later I will add more possibilities and buttons with pictures.

      Thanks,
      KAMI

      Kami,
I tried this, but nothing happened.  Is there anything else I can try?

      Thank you

      You can try:
Tools - Macros - Run macros
Do you have Premium and OOoWikipedia group here?

      Hi Kami,
No, I looked through all the macros in openoffice.org group and did not see anything called Premium or OOoWikipedia?

If you do not put any valuable information into your openoffice.org profile folder you can rename it.
You can find the fulder here:

      \Document and Settings\<profile>\OpenOfficeorg2
      \home\<profile>\OpenOfficeorg2

Rename OpenOfficeorg2 to OpenOfficeorg2.original. The new profile will be created.

      Kami,
That worked!  Once I renamed it, now the OOoWikipedia works.

      Thanks for your help.

Sorry I missed on folder in the Windows version:
      \Document and Settings\<profile>\Application data\OpenOfficeorg2

Application data is hidden so you have to type it manually or eneble to view the hidden files...

Nice to hear. One of the icons will automatically load the Wiki page that matches with the UI language. Another one is  opens a language selector dialog then the wikipage.
