Hi,

I installed the most recent OxygenOpenOffice under Fedora9 and had problems when running an update on my machine with the command:

yum update

Then yum tried to update the oxygen rpms by the standard fedora openoffice.org rpms. I had to cancel this update and made an exclusion in /etc/yum.conf for openoffice.org.

Never had such problem with a previously installed StarOffice!!

Asking the fedora people, I got an answer: the oxygen office rpms have the epoch tag (none). That means that each openoffice.org rpm will be a valid update for the oxygen rpms:

yum update
