is this feature now, 5 years later implemented? If yes, where do I find it in the package? I have still some problems to determine the functionalities of the different classes due the "small" javadoc.

You're right, this feature is a must and i will add it to the feature list with top-priority and start working on it asap now that other issue seems on it's way for fix.
