I've written a small messenger-web-application using the Google Web Toolkit and the JOscarLib. I thought, that maybe it is of any use for you out there, as a starting-point to develop your own messenger-software. I can't give you much of a support, if you are not able to get the project up and running and it is only tested with a small contact-list of about 4 contacts, but anyways... have fun!
