I have an NVidia 6600 GT 3D video card. The first working version of Test2
gave this warning:

  Xlib:  extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display

This was due to having the Mesa (ie - software) versions of the OpenGL *-dev
packages installed instead of the NVidia versions. Installing the Debian
nvidia-glx-dev package and rebuilding solved this problem.
