Hi,
I am getting that message after following the installation instructions for i386 linux. I have
downloaded both the binaries and the common files and followed the instructions carefully.
Can anyone tell me what is wrong?

  I am also getting this error message. I have GNU Emacs installed on a windows XP machine. Does anyone ahve any ideas?
