Right now, the crop tool stays in effect even after the crop. The problem with that is that if you want to select an object immediately afterwards, you actually end up cropping again.
Should we go back to, "select tool" after a crop?

Maybe this is not the way to go. Maybe it is a sign of a greater issue. For example, we could just implement UNDO, and if you do crop too much, just click the UNDO button a few times, and you are back to where you were.

I would say yes because I have accidentally cropped way too many pictures.
Maybe this is not the way to go. Maybe it is a sign of a greater issue. For example, we could just implement UNDO, and if you do crop too much, just click the UNDO button a few times, and you are back to where you were.
