Write Permissions
As far as I can see edit file permissions requires CHMOD
777 on the files and directories involved. This kinda
stinks since it leaves the files WIIIIIIDE open. Is there a
way to allow an authenticated user the ability to
write/edit without CHMODing everything to 777?

Specifying Directories
I've got multiple language versions of some files I need
to allow a user to edit. The "content" directories are
within a larger directory for each language. Something
like this would be an example:

(english is at the top default level)

top/content
top/body
top/script
top/style

top/spanish/content
top/spanish/body
top/spanish/script
top/spanish/style

etc.

I want to allow the user access to all the "content"
directories, but NOT any of the other directories. I'm
trying to do this by specifying each of the directories to
be included, but for some reason whenever I turn off
defineroot I just get a listing of all directories from the
top down. SFM seems to just take the first directory
and include everything at the same level on down.

Am I missing something? I realize the notes say its
rudimentary, but it doesn't seem to be working at all.

BTW, great script, immensly useful, well architected as
well.

Please send any reply to filemanager@tilghman.net

Thanks,
rt
