Changes between one-jar 0.97 and 0.97.1

  • Anonymous - 2013-02-04

There are two versions in the 0.97 series available: OneJar 0.97 (2011-05-05) and OneJar 0.97.1 (2012-08-15).

Is there a Changelog available for these versions? Were any serious bugs fixed between those two releases?

Thanks for asking. 0.97 (2011-05-05) had a minor patch to allow warning suppression via a one-jar.warning system property.  0.97.1 is a minor enhancement back-port of some pluggable logging code that was implemented by another user (which will be released in 0.98 at some point). Neither fix is required unless you need the additional capabilities.  My bad for slip-streaming those into the jar-archives, I'll try to be more transparent in future.  I really need to get off CVS and onto something more accessible.

    Thanks for the clarification, Simon!

That's also what I figured out after diffing the 0.97 and 0.97.1 JARs (which contain the source files after all).

glad you were able to figure out the changes from the source: i'm a firm believer in including the source with the binar: it removes all ambiguity as to what you're dealing with, doesn't bloat the size much, and simplifies debugging.

    thanks for using one-jar.
