I have once used Omni but stopped once foomatic started to work with my=20
printer (Epson LQ 570+).  Try to install the following packages:
 apt-get install libcupsys2-dev  libcupsimage2-dev libgtkmm-dev libxml-dev

When compiling I get the error:
Error: The current automake version is for. Please install version 2.52 or=
=20
greater

But maybe it works for you.
