Hello Ilic,

configure.ac references gtk-config which is part of gtk+-devel.  It asks
gtk-config for the cflags and the libraries that it needs to link with.  I
haven't tried it without gtk+-devel to see if it still compiles and works.

-lXext is a reference to libXext.so which is a part of the XFree86
development package on Red Hat.  So please install that package and tell me
if it works.
