[Omniprint-developer] configure.ac patch

heya,

once upon a time i created this patch:
- some shell code optimizations. well ...
- make the autoconf magic get along with the (utterly ugly) symlink
  magic better. dunno if that part still applies.
- made it work with the autoconf version i used back then. dunno if it
  was too new or too old.

you should remove any autogenerated files from cvs. they make
maintaining patches like this one hell.
file names with spaces in a source tree are no really good idea, either
...
