[Omniprint-developer] Omniprint and Ghostscript 8.0

We're releasing Ghostscript 8.0 in the next couple of of weeks, and I 
wanted to ping you to see if there's anything you'd like to go in with 
regard to the Omni driver suite.

I took a look at the current patches against 7.05. Moving to autoconf 
has simplified the configuration issues a great deal, but it's still 
too invasive for mainline Ghostscript. In particular, we still don't 
have a good solution for the gmodule and C++ issues.

If someone can come up with a cleaner build patch, we'd be happy to 
include it. Also I understand we have copyright assignment on gomni.c, 
so we'd be happy to include it in the AFPL release if that's helpful or 
interesting to Omni.
