[Omniprint-developer] Using OMNI without ghostscript ??

Whats involved in using OMNI without ghostscript ??

I have an embedded handheld device running linux. I
need to do screen dumps to various flavors of USB
attached printers. 

Ghostscript seems like overkill if all I ever want to
do is print a 640x480 bitmap.
