I have read in the documentation of the braille embosser Everest from Index (http://www.braille.se/servicesupport/version2/everest_manual_v2.pdf) that it use commands from the Proprinter X24 commands. They are all listed in the document.
I would like to know if a driver with the OMNI framework would be esily implementable. (I'm not an expert in drivers developpement).
anyone can help?
regards

Hello,
If the device is a clone of an existing device then yes. If it has new commands, then it will require some C++ programming experience.

Hi
I think that the commands used are quite the same as IBM X24 ones but minus all graphical related commands. I'll need to check this.
