#60 Fan on but temps still > 80C

Hello, just recently compiled and installed omnibook for Toshiba Satellite A505-S6965. All seemed to go well. Get this from dmesg

Fan control still not working. The fan stays on the low setting even when temps are 80 C. I must keep the processor on the powersave governor to avoid overheating. Help greatly appreciated.
