#8 blanking -> lic close -> lid open problem

If the lcd blanking from the module switches off the
screen and one then proceeds to close the lid, and then
open it again the screen will not be powered off,
instead the screen is powered on, but blanked.

I found this issue on a Toshiba Satellite P10 running a
2.6.14 (vanilla) kernel.

This is probably not a serious issue, but I'd like it
if someone could take a look, if I find the time, I'll
also take a look.
